Mars & Saturn

After more than a month of waiting for these two wonderful night sky jewels to clear the roof obstruction, I was able to do imaging again by waking up real early. At 4am, Mars was already 37deg low to the west and Saturn just  passed zenith at 63deg. There were no clouds this morning.

I could've done this at midnight but I would have to go about a 100ft from where I live. I couldn't do remote imaging because I have no batteries.

This is my second time to image mars I think he was only ~6arcsec back then.
The North Polar cap, Chryse and Mare Erythreum is visible.

Image comparison from the Mars Previewer:

CM = 73.21
DEC = 22.33
Diameter = 13.64
Phase = 0.9958
Mag = -1.11

My first image of Saturn. One of the most beautiful objects in the night sky

I thank the Lord for allowing me to image these two. Always make you question how can you love astronomy and not believe there's a Creator!
